SALIX MORAVA a.s. is an agricultural company focused on crop and livestock production. It primarily farms the fertile soils of Haná in Central Moravia with high soil quality, one of the most productive in the country. Its crop production operations are located in the Olomouc and Zlín Regions – in Horní Moštěnice, Vitonice, Hulín, Zdounky, and Střílky.
The principal crops include cereals and oil plants – wheat, rape and barley, grain maize and silage maize to meet the needs of livestock production and for energy purposes. Marginally, sugar beet, alfalfa, phacelia, mustard, and flax are also cultivated. Livestock production represents an important field of activity for SALIX MORAVA a.s. It is concentrated in the Vlkoš centre, which focuses on raising dairy cattle. The daily production of its 420 dairy cows is approximately 10,000 litres of milk.
